Keynote PresenterWe bring
you one of our state's award-winning teachers, Cherice Montgomery,
as the keynote presenter for this conference. Increasingly called
on as a regional and national presenter, KFLA recognized her as 1999
Kansas Teacher of the Year, and as "Best of Kansas 1995"
for a conference presentation. Because she keeps busy presenting at
national and regional conferences, we were lucky to engage her for
two keynote presentations that everyone appreciated.

Professional activities include contract work for several publishers and universities, a position as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Critical Inquiry Into Curriculum & Instruction, frequent presentations, and various publications. She participated in the team that developed the Kansas Curricular Standards for Foreign Language and the "Colorful Connections" standards training program.
